What’s better than indulging in gooey, golden-crusted mozzarella sticks when dining out? Making (and enjoying them) in the comfort of your own home! Watch the video to learn how to fry up a batch of these deep-fried delights; they’re even tastier than those served at the likes of T.G.I. Fridays.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of string mozzarella cheese
  • 2/3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp. of dried parsley
  • 1 tsp. of garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. of seasoning salt

Directions

  1. Beat eggs in a medium bowl.
  2. One by one, coat the mozzarella sticks in flour.
  3. Dip the mozzarella sticks into the egg mixture.
  4. Toss the mozzarella sticks into the bread crumbs. Cover evenly.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 until your mozzarella sticks have been breaded twice over.
  6. Place each mozzarella stick on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.
  7. Freeze for at least 1 hour.
  8. In a pan, heat your oil to 350 degrees F.
  9. Fry your mozzarella sticks until golden brown. Remove and cool on a baking sheet.
