The points of reference for the bold primary color eyes at The Blonds’ show were 1960s science fiction movies and Tweety Bird. Bright yellow shadow was used on the top lids, while the lower lash line was lined with turquoise — and a black wing separated the two. Nails evoked the Sydney Opera House; painted white with 3D armadillo-like ridges sticking out.
