Athena CAfter all the excitements and hustles happened at Sao Paulo Fashion Week Winter 2016 Ready-To-Wear last week, we now can clearly review and see a new maturity to the city’s fashion scene. At its 20th season, Sao Paulo Fashion Week has established its uniqueness and high standards where extraordinary and innovative designs are brought to the stage. We are surprised and excited by the exquisitely feminine and boldly sporty collections we see throughout the week, and here are some exceptional ones that we immediately fall in love with.
Osklen
Simple, bold yet elegant. Osklen’s Winter Collection focuses on refined and relaxed womenswear. Brilliantly combining bold colours, thoughtful details and tailoring, the collection presents a new form of femininity where women and men can actively maneuver the city with flair. Our instant picks: bold black striped body-fit top pairs with black high-waisted loose cut pants with white stripes details; and silk black v-cut rope with interspersed black and white details.

Animale
Founded by the Jatahy siblings: Roberto, Claudia and Gisella, Animale has completely altered its previously body-con designs for its AW16 RTW Collection. Approaching femininity in a more subtle and poised way, the designers brings in minimalism,artistic patterns and alluring details. The collection is stocked at animale.com.br

PatBo
Playfully incorporates beads, floral prints and textures in her designs, Chief designer Patricia Bonaldi accentuates nomadic symbols and interesting layerings this season. Colcci
Known for high-end denim and quirky streetwear designs, Colcci (like many others) took a 360 degree change of design direction for its new collection.
