We have loads of ideas for decor, drinks, dinner, and dresses to help you plan accordingly.

1. Dramatic Bridal Accessories

Keep cozy with a (faux) fur shrug or bolero in either the same color as your dress or in a classic shade of brown. A cloak sweeping around your feet will add a dramatic, fairytale-like element to your photographs. Keep your fingers warm with elegant elbow-length gloves, and consider wearing embellished white tights with your regular wedding shoes or a pair of cozy wellington boots to ensure you’ll be able to still feel your toes. Don’t forget your guests and the rest of the wedding party either: give your bridesmaids shrugs or boleros, and place woolly tartan rugs and shawls around your venue for your guests.

2. Heavy Lace Wedding Dress

Floaty silk and chiffon wedding dresses are beautiful, but you’ll probably want something a little more substantial for a winter wedding. Choose heavyweight lace and thick duchess satin to help keep you warmer; princess-style A-line dresses with masses of fluffy tulle underskirts and layers are the perfect winter silhouette.
